SUPPORT AND ELABORATION

A rectangular oak frame probably made up of the three modules forming the three main vertical sections, the highest and deepest of which is the centre section. The rear of the right vertical section is made from radial cut vertical panels nailed to the base and assembled using double bevels reinforced with crossbars. The upper outer angles are joined by multiple dovetailed mortises. Several panels show marks from when the trunks were originally split in the woods and forests in which the trees were felled and some display identification marks made by a gouge.

The groups of oak figures are composed of one or several figures and/or elements arranged at different levels to give the impression of heightened perspective. The majority of the figures are attached to the bottom of their compartments with forged nails.

The wings are made up of two painted panels, each of which comprising three vertical boards set into the perimeter moulding whose edge has not been painted. Above them are the traceries, pinboards and a small dividing column.
