ALTARPIECE OF THE HOLY BURIAL

OBSERVATIONS 

A similar altarpiece to this one is kept in the Museum Catharijnecovent in Utrecht. The same figures as seen here appear on it in similar stances with the exception of the figure of Mary Magdalene that has been replaced by a figure of one of the Holy Women. The altarpiece in Utrecht, however, is made from one single piece whereas the altarpiece in Segovia comprises four different pieces.
