AR&PA 2008

The 6th AR&PA Fair was held at the Valladolid exhibition centre from 30 October to 2 November 2008.

The event focused on “Heritage Management: towards a sustainable approach” and included:

• The AR&PA Fair, with 21,000m2 of exhibition space, 250 exhibitors and 35,000 visitors.
• The International Conference, with 460 participants. 
• The Technical Workshops and Presentations to analyse and evaluate Cultural Heritage actions. Nine workshops and around 30 technical presentations were held over the four days.
• The AR&PA Awards for Historical Heritage Actions. 

The AR&PA with the Family and AR&PA for Everyone programmes were also launched this year.

This Biennial gave a significant boost to internationalising AR&PA, with the Fair achieving a high level of international participation, as well as major agreements being reached with the three leading fairs in Europe and the Italian Association of Restoration Companies, Assorestauro.
