The JARCULTUR project addresses recovery of the green spaces in the palace gardens and in the valley of ferns. Their location and surroundings make them some of the most emblematic features of Mata do Bussaco.

The irrigation system will also be modernised, including installation of cost-effective maintenance solutions that will deliver energy and water savings.

Premises for educational and pedagogical activities will be made available and the surroundings will be suitably adapted.

The project will incorporate dissemination of information using contemporary media such as 360º video recordings.
